Hans Van Dyck is a professor and chair of the Behavioural ecology and conservation group at the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL). His group has a strong interest in both basic and applied ecology and evolution, and particularly in animal behaviour. A general theme of research in his group is evolutionary change in anthropogenic environments: “changing organisms in changing landscapes”. In addition to his scientific work, Hans publishes on general topics related to biodiversity and global change in De Standaard and EOS.
